Mapit is a professional and stand-alone mapping and surveying tool designed to boost productivity in the field. The application supports common file formats for input and output, and is compatible with various external GNSS receivers for achieving centimeter-level accuracy.
With Mapit, users can design survey forms, organize data on layers, work offline with mbtiles base-maps, access WMS services, utilize GPS tracking to capture line and polygon features, record GNSS metadata, and more. Widely used by professionals worldwide, this app is versatile and can be adapted to numerous applications, from agriculture and forestry to road construction, geology, land surveying, and solar panel solutions.
Mapit also functions as a measurement tool for calculating areas or distances. It simplifies the process of saving locations by allowing users to choose attributes from a predefined drop-down list and import long lists of attributes from text files.
